Let me start off by pointing out one simple FACT that is overlooked by many anti rights groups and people who like to say the Second Amendment applies only to the State's Right to form a militia: These naysayers claim that the Second Amendment is referring to The National Guard. But the FACT of the matter is The National Guard DID NOT exist until 1903! - Therefore how could anyone in their right mind ever come up with the warped idea that the second amendment applies ONLY to the state and the National Guard is beyond me. (Please see Militia Code for full text of the law - 10 USC Sec. 311)

There is also lots of information on the intent of the Founding Fathers who wrote the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, expressing the view that the Second like all the other rights is an individual right.

    To those who refuse to believe this - I feel sorry for you, I hope you never have to face a criminal who does not give a damn about you or your feelings and will kill you just because you exist. As further argument to this end; In the U.S. v Emerson appeal decision, the 5th Circuit clearly ruled that the Second Amendment guarantees the right of an individual citizen to keep and bear private arms, "regardless of whether the particular individual is then actually a member of the militia."
 
   I have some web pages and stories from other sources all the owners of these have given me their permission to use their web pages / articles. I am willing to add pages and links to articles or other web sites if I approve of them. You are free to express your thoughts on the subject pro or con. All I ask is that your commits or article be some how related to firearms or the Second Amendment. 

   My wife and I both have CCW permits and feel it is every Americans right to own and carry a firearm (except those who have had their right revoked for breaking the law) and feel the U.S. overall would be a safer place if more people would exercise their right to carry a firearm. Also a person's permit should be valid in every state just like a marrage license or Drivers license.
